Striderz Run Club is more than a running group — we are a community built on belonging, encouragement, and shared growth. Based in Vancouver, Canada, we bring runners and walkers together every week to enjoy movement, support one another, and celebrate progress no matter the pace.

Our Story

Meet Rabih Majzoub, Founder of Striderz Run Club

I almost quit running after my very first group run.

It happened in Montreal, when I joined a local running group with very little experience. The run was brutal. I struggled to keep up, questioned why I showed up, and wondered if I even belonged. But the group didn’t leave me behind. They encouraged me, stayed with me, and helped me finish. I was exhausted — but I also felt accomplished. More than that, I felt supported. That moment changed how I understood running. I realized it wasn’t just about fitness or performance, but about confidence, resilience, and showing up on hard days.

As my journey continued, I became a certified personal trainer, group fitness coach, and run coach, always focused on helping people move safely, build confidence, and feel capable in their own bodies. I’ve been honoured to be nominated for Top Fitness Awards in 2021 and 2022, but recognition has never been the goal. What matters most is seeing someone complete something they once thought was impossible.

Striderz Run Club was built from that first difficult group run.

It was created around a simple belief: community comes first. Progress looks different for everyone, and no one should feel left behind. Today, Striderz brings beginners, walkers, comeback runners, and experienced athletes together in a supportive space where belonging comes before performance.

Because when people feel supported, consistency follows — and that’s where real transformation begins.
